It is a catalog of objects recovered by the families of the reporters murdered during the last decade in the state of Veracruz, Mexico.
The series explores the identity and life of the murdered reporters and photojournalists, recording from the intimacy of their garments to their work tools, as a tangible way to know who they are. The details and particularities of each object show us a direct and personal approach of the author for the living memory of his companions. An exercise that combines introspection and research close to their families.
"Veracruz is the most dangerous place in the American continent for journalists and media, in Mexico that is not officially at war." It indicates a document issued in 2017 by the organization Reporters Without Borders.
The objects, silent, show us the trajectory and tastes of their owners, the efforts to work with instruments, often precarious, and the sensitivity of personal concerns.
