Félix Márquez is an independent photographer and visual journalist based in Mexico.
Márquez has specialized in covering the war against drug trafficking in Mexico, migration, human rights and childhood in Latin America.
Currently he collaborates for the global media outlets The Associated Press, De Volkskrant, The Globe and Mail, The Guardian, Washington Post, etc. His work has been published in international media publications, including The New York Times, National Geographic, Le Monde, Los Angeles Times, El País, El Mundo, AJ + and a dozen national media and magazines.
He is the founder and co-producer of the Mirar Distinto Photo Festival. His photographs have been exhibited collectively and individually in NYC, Mexico, Norway, Netherlands, Ecuador, and Chile.
Marquez is the author of "Testigo de la Violencia" book (Juan Pablos editores, 2018)
